Hello Amelie!

I'm on holiday at the moment, staying with family in Canada, so I've been away from computers. Last night though, I was lucky enough to be near my uncle's mac & jumped at the chance to get back to Photoshop with a portrait of one of their devon rex cats, Amelie.

Copied from a photo, painted in Photoshop in mmm...between 2 & 3 hours I think. It was really good fun to do because I've been missing digital work anyway, but it was really just an exercise or a doodle so it's not all that wonderful :P

Any comments or crit welcome as always, & I hope you're all well :)

Ehe, thankyou!! I'm not usually a fan either; I find animal portraits over sentimental & kinda twee, especially of pet cats, but I didn't mind this as an exercise & the people who own the cat liked it :)

The cat is in a pretty easy pose, the sketch was quick ;P & there's a fair amount of flat white, that's not hard to paint!! :XD: :hug:

Aw Chrisu, sankyuu ^___^ I am happy you like it, the family have been all complimentray about it & it's quite embarrassing ^^; but really nice at the same time.

That is good, it is a good thing. Your picture, I'm not so sure of it. Heylady, it is a cat but it lacks the furs, why is fur not there, is it a desease? Keep the desease cat from me, I'm proud of my fur, yeah.
