Artist's Comments I am a Sailormoon fangirl...It's the only thing I'll do fanart of, except maybe Pokemon. That makes me really sad, doesn't it? What's sadder is I really, really enjoyed doing this. I really like the result as well. Venus was one of my favoured scouts, I liked V more just because in that persona she wore those super cool red goggles, & how can you not love a girl with so much hair? Without all that hair my composition'd be too empty  According to a book on geisha I read the hairstyle Minako wears (with the bow up top) is based on Edo period schoolgirls..well I thought it was interesting. This is kinda a mix of Venus & V, so before any die hard SM fanatics point out all the wrongs in the outfit, I don't care, I put things together that I thought looked pretty.It's only a lineart, yup, I decided not to waste my time colouring a fanart but I couldn't help myself & started the colouring last night  I probably won't finish it though. If you wanna colour it, be my guest! I'd love to see it coloured, but please please make sure you drop me a note or comment on here with a link to it so I can come & +fave it, please?? Tas  I love the cross hatching on this, but so far I think I'm the only one..I think it gives it a bit more character & depth but I'd like to hear opinions. Other than that, I just noticed her skirt looks really flat, like it's glued to her front but it doesn't go round the back  oops...Any other crit TOTALLY welcome, hearing what you think makes me a better artist; that makes me happier & gives my watchers better things to look at. Eveyone win!  Copic 0.03 + some other brand 0.05 fineliner on paper, sketch about an hour, inking 2 maybe 3 hours.   |

I'm not sure if I'll finish off the colouring...~ShimmerStar has already done a super colouring that I'm not sure I could beat!! Maybe if I get some time..I always need practise anyway

I see what ya mean about the arms again...very small compared to the thighs! The hands are alright in comparison to the face, I'd drawn them to that 'cover the face' rule but forgot her head is quite small in comparison to her torso & thighs as well
I'll pay more attention to that in future, that's what happens when you use a real person ref then anime-ise the face but not the body! Silly me
& don't worry about things not being your cup of tea so to speak heh, I'm doing some different stuff with colour in my self portrait project that I didn't really expect to be as well recieved as illustrations & fanart. Can't please everyone all the time! If I didn't do lotsa different stuff I'd get bored of myself anyway.
