Description
The third, & strongest so far, of my Undersea Community series of paintings. This one was basically me pissing & moaning about how hard fish are to take care of, see the text reads "it is your responsibility to protect your fish from ammonia, nitirites, nitrates, chlorine, stress, parasites, disease." Bastarding goldfish.
This was made by using a layer of the word 'water' printed out loadsa times & stuck down with a mix of white acrylic, pva & acrylic gloss medium, then the piece was painted with a mix of pva & acrylic colour over the top, as the pva makes the acrylic slighty translucent! If you full view you can see the blotches on the fishy are outlined in the word 'fish' too ^-^

nice! somehow i feel like i identify with the fish in the picture so it makes a statement to me as well about taking good care of myself. i love how you did the water. very creative!
