Hearts And Flowers

A little 6x6" canvas I did for my boyfriend a while back, inspired by 'Hearts & Flowers' by Lamb. I like the lyric; it fits how I feel about the subject of love, about how nothing can prepare you for falling in love because it's unlike anything else in the world. We like Lamb!! Anyway I wanted it to be something special, something different, cos love is diffucult to fully portray in visual art. My visual representation of love is always small & usually shiny, something precious & delicate & beautiful...I had meant to make him a little box but I found a tiny canvas first. I like how the wire makes it look almost as if the heart were in a deep magical forest...
