Dear God, I love pigeons. I've drawn so many pigeons in this project, I'll get round to sharing some of the others soon.
Susan walks through Leicester Square, & thus through the hoards of pigeons. Pigeons are the city's feathers, see how they're all grey, but have green & purple splashes as well? Just like London. Grey for the most part, but with the most amazing bits of colour, & there the grey only accentuates the colour & makes it more vibrant. Beautiful city, beautiful pigeons.
Anyway. Again, quite a grey image overall, so her grey doesn't contrast as well as I'd like. Again, the texture helps, but not a lot. ;_; I like the composition on this one though, & am glad I got this one finished for the deadline as I had it thumbnailed for months already.

I really like this compositionally, though as you said it is a bit gray overall, which causes Susan to blend in... maybe the other feet could be more vibrant... I really do like the rendering of blue jeans and man feet here though... but, Shiny red pumps make me happy... though they wouldn't be very practical for feeding pigeons... but I do think that snazzier shoes could brighten this up just enough... I have a lot of flashy shoes if you'd like some ideas 
(I heart shoes!!!!).... OOOO I HAVE KERMIT THE FROG GREEN COWBOY BOOTS! just the right level of eccentricity maybe!?
