Poised Peony

Aah I'm sorry I've been away so long!

I'm getting my illustration mojo back slowly & am drawing more, so hopefully I'll be making an almost comeback eventually

This was just a short piece for the Illustration Friday topic "Poise." Took me around 5 hours riiiight at the end of the deadline, so it's a tiny bit rougher round the edges than I'd like it to be. I didn't think very hard about it & that felt quite nice; to just draw something without pressuring myself overly, which I think is part of the reason I was falling out of love with my vocation.

Anyway. I was worried about going down the Asian route, but it started happening as I was working on it & I decided not to fight it.
She's a princess of some sort, & the wolves & the worse-than-wolves have attacked the palace...
