A slightly oldie, but a goodie.
This is from back in December, but I'm only just getting around to adding it to my gallery. It's Eleanor again, (my only other surviving character apart from Redbird) I was working through her haircut, practising faces & playing with lighting in this one. You can hardly see the haircut in this, it was originally a full head & shoulder shot, but those usually turn into the worst boring compositions so I cropped it into this. I think it really works as a nice tight crop, what about you? Um, I don't know what else to say about it...the hair is so much better than her face! I can't remember if I did this in Photoshop or Painter so I'll guess at a mix of both  ^_^     -xxx- |

I like the sketchy lines of her face.
Is the left side of her hairband supposed to stand out like that from the head?
It makes it look like the hairband is bend forward a bit.

Now I don't mean to brag, & I don't mean to boast, but I'm the daddy with the mostest goldenest toast.
I like the sketchy lines as well hee ^_^ I might try to use that kind of thing on more of my drawings from now on!
I was a bit worried putting up tons of work at once might annoy people actually
